AllThingsD reported today, iPad 3 may be unveiled at an event prospected for the first week of March.
The iteration of Apple`s blockbuster tablet is expected to be announced at the event in San Francisco, the report says.
March is not the first date that has been rumored about, but AllThingsD is a respectable source to say so.
The next iPad apparently will be called iPad 3 and Apple will sustain the momentum of the previous two generations of iPads. Last March the iPad 2 was launched and had a success on the market. Despite a huge number of riots, Apple had a dominant position last year.
This year Apple has even more lower-cost tablets competitors, such as Asus and Amazon.
The design of the next iPad will be similar to the iPad 2, but it will run an advanced graphics processor, better resolution, and a faster chip, AllThingsD reported. iPad 3 may feature a 2048×1536 Retina Display that the iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S also run.
iPad 2 was on sale in a week after it was announced last year and it can happen again this March.
