QArea is Temporarily Transitioning to Remote Work

All four of QArea’s Ukrainian R&D offices have transitioned to remote working to deter the spread of the COVID-19 virus and ensure our teams stay safe and healthy.

Our developers, testers, and management teams were fully prepared for this turn of events, and all necessary network, communication, and workflow arrangements have been made in advance. Furthermore, many departments and internal teams have been implementing remote work as a regular occurrence within the company.

“Remote work arrangements were made long ago, as part of our preparation for the ISO 27001 certification. All remote access policies and permissions have been arranged and in place since August,” Says Oleg Sivograkov, COO of QArea. “We’re confident the nation-wide quarantine will have little to no effect on daily operations.”

As of March 17, all businesses operating in Ukraine have been encouraged to arrange remote work opportunities for employees. These proactive measures were taken in response to the global COVID-19 pandemic in an effort to deter its spread in Ukraine.
