QArea joined the Drupal Associationby QArea Team on September 30, 2011
QArea has become a member of the Drupal Association shortly after the company representatives attended the DrupalCon London Conference held on 22-26 August, 2011.
Inspired by participation in the event where QArea developers had an opportunity to closely communicate with colleagues, be involved in interactive discussions and learn best practices from highly qualified Drupal experts, the company took a decision to join the Drupal Association.
The Drupal Association is an educational non-profit organization that was created back in 2006 with the aim to support Druapl software project and the Drupal community as well as foster its growth worldwide. Funded by donations from members and organizations, the Drupal Association activities include:
- Supporting the software infrastructure of Drupal.org.
- Protecting the Drupal project, the community and the GPL source code of the Drupal project.
- Sharing the benefits of the Drupal software.
- Arranging and promoting worldwide events dedicated to the Drupal project and the community.
Becoming a member of the Drupal Association provides the opportunity for both individuals and businesses to be formally considered the supporters of the Drupal project.
