Stephen Ives Comes to QArea

April 5-6, Kharkiv, Ukraine Stephen Ives came to QArea Ukraine headquarters in Kharkiv.

Stephen, used to be CEO at Trigenix company which has been recently acquired by Qualcomm for about USD 36 mln. At the moment Stephen is CEO of new company Jamtap Ltd. At their Barcelona meeting during 3GSM Stephen Ives offered Max Garkavtsev to take part in his new venture.

QArea’s cooperation with Stephen started when one of QArea software developers was invited to work in Trigenix. When Trigenix team was in need to outsource their testing project, this developer kindly recommended to offshore it to QArea. So, in 2001 we got request to test the User Interface for mobile phone Themes and the environment language generating graphic shell and simulating shell performance, in particular.

Stephen Ives came to Ukraine for the first time. On April 3, after he landed in Kyiv, he stayed there unable to resist sightseeing Ukrainian capital historical attractions: its beautiful churches, monuments, squares and old town streets and of course visiting the best Ukrainian restaurants.

There he was accompanied by Julia Palatovska, PR Manager, and Max Garkavtsev, founder.

Afterwards Stephen spent two days in QArea office, where he was surrounded with QArea’s customer care department attention and discuss his new project with the Project Manager and the Team responsible for this project. However, Stephen had a chance to get acknowledged with traditional and famous Ukrainian and the Uzbek cuisine at Bukhara restaurant which appeared a discovery for him!

Stephen left Ukraine in the best mood and now he is anticipating his next trip here that will happen very soon for sure.
