Working on the You-Doo project
Both parties had their good days and bad days during project development, however the end result is a nice, intuitive and easy to use solution that resolves many issues busy people encounter in organizing their lives. Plutanium, LLC was an amazing client and it was an actual pleasure to work together on a shared project for team QArea. The collaboration was of the highest standard and involvement was mutually helpful and pleasant from both parties.
Let’s here what Kyle Silcox, a Director at Plutanium, LLC has to say about the time we have spent together working on You-Doo?
What was your first impression when you saw You-Doo all cooked up and ready?
The entire time I’ve been involved working with the folks at QArea I have been nothing but delighted and impressed. They are great people who do high quality work and the things they did with You-Doo were really impressive.
How may you grade the work we were doing together on a scale from ‘1’ to ‘I totally love QArea’?
Oh, I would have to say that I do totally love QArea 🙂
What were your biggest fears related with the You-Doo project?
Probably my biggest fears revolved around the language barrier between my team in the United States and the folks at QArea in the Ukraine. I was worried that I wouldn’t be able to properly communicate my ideas and questions. It turned out to be easy and not a problem however, since QArea has many folks who are fluent in many different languages including English.
Where your expectations met with what people at QArea have developed?
Do you believe your solution is exactly what is needed to serve users and assist them with their daily tasks?
Yes, You-Doo is unique in that it approaches tasking from a geographical categorization scheme instead of a subject or theme. Usually you have tasks to accomplish in many different areas of town and it’s nice to be able to look at your day and know where you have to be at any given time and be reminded to do things when you arrive at your destinations.
What would you still improve in your app?
There are many new features planned for You-Doo including but not limited to voice notes, NFC sharing capabilities, integration into Cortana and much much more.
If you could change one aspect of our work on the project what would it be?
I don’t really have anything negative to say about the work done to be honest. I guess if I had to name something it would be the time zone difference. It was a bit of a struggle for me at first but not insurmountable.
What did you enjoy the most in our work?
The great ideas that the QArea team came up with along with their courteous approach to business and their customers made the entire experience enjoyable for me.
What did you love most about the app?
The cloud synchronization system that QArea built is most impressive. It is super handy to be able to enter your tasks from your computer and access them from your phone even when you are on the go. Simply incredible. Download your free copy today!
